During the month of April, when the world commemorates the Rana Plaza disaster of 2013, a significant portion of the fashion community critically rethinks how the entire fashion system is set up, and how we can move towards more sustainable production and consumption practices in fashion.
Every year, we at WFTO observe Fashion Revolution Week to support and amplify the mission of promoting transparency and ethical practices in the fashion industry, from producers to consumers. Fair Trade Enterprises are changemakers, showing that the fashion industry can change by ensuring fair wages, and environmental protection while making beautiful and lasting clothes.
Through Fashion Revolution Week, we strive to inspire collective change and encourage the adoption of ethical and responsible practices throughout the fashion supply chain and beyond.
