About Us
Panay Fair Trade Center is a business enterprise owned by various people’s organizations in Panay. It was established as an organization in 1991 with a present physical location in Sitio Manue, Tagbac Sur, Oton, Iloilo. PFTC has currently 6 mills all throughout Panay Island & 1 partner mill in Negros Occidental. It is an export company with buyers from Italy, South Korea, Germany, France, Spain and Hongkong. PFTC is exporting Organic Mascobado Sugar in these countries, Ginger Chews & Banana Chips to some. PFTC was Organized by KABALAKA, a women’s association. It links farmers organization & peasant women groups with urban poor communities through an economic venture wherein the farmers supply the raw materials and the urban poor women process them into the finished product.
Mission Statement
PFTC’s main mission is to help marginalized farmers be alleviated from poverty through purchasing and marketing their produced product abroad. The profiles indicate farmer communities organized aligned with the purpose and mission of PFTC.
