The association Fair Trade Denmark’s vision is to lift marginalized producers out of poverty through good working conditions, product development, cooperation and the sale of Fair Trade goods. The principles for Fair Trade production and trade must apply to the entire trade chain from producer to consumer and are based on WFTO’s (Word Fair Trade Organisation) 10 Fair Trade standards. By securing a better trade price, Fair Trade Denmark’s members help small local communities in developing countries to better living conditions.
