About Us
Equo Garantito – the Italian General Assembly
of Fair Trade – is an association that has been representing for over 20 years in Italy the Fair Trade organizations agreeing the Italian Charter of Fair Trade Criteria.
Equo Garantito represents nearly 70 Italian Fair Trade organisations (World Shops, import organisation, Italian Fair Trade producers).
Mission Statement
Equo Garantito works toward a world in which business practices are more fair and sustainable and contribute to development and social justice, erasing poverty and protecting the environment. Its action has 4 pillars: Fair Trade promotion, Advocacy and partnerships, Certified Guarantee System, Training and services.
