Beas y Tapia is a small family business, dedicated to the export of handicrafts from Chile since 1987. Currently our clients are in Germany, England, USA, Denmark, The Netherlands, Taiwan and China. Most of them are members of Fair Trade Associations. Our commitment is to practice the principles of Fair Trade, both with our artisans and clients. We contact craftsmen directly and we offer them a price that values their work and trade, as we deliver a certified quality product to our customers. Since December 2013, Beas y Tapia are active member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). On 21 July 2017 we received from the WFTO the designation of Guaranteed Fairtrade Organization. are also member of the Asociación Chilena por el Comercio Justo (Chilean Association for Fair Trade), since 2015 In addition, Beas y Tapia have participated for many years in the international fairs “Ambiente” and “Tendence”, Frankfurt, Germany, and in Septembre 2019, under the auspices of ProChile, at the WFTO 15th International Fair Trade Summit in Lima, Perú. Our craftsmen make handicraft workshops in Clay, Ceramics, Fused Glass, Cactus, Wood, Copper, Bronze, Horsehair. Its workshops are located between the areas of La Serena and Villarrica. All develop their products under international quality standards Our mission is to work in coordination with family artisan workshops, to promote their creations, to offer them to buyers in other countries. Giving them constant work results in their family well-being and a good education for their children.
