About Us
We are the umbrella organization of the 88 Worldshops in Austria. We are a non-trading fair trade supporting organization. Our members are the worldshops & the import organizations we accepted.
Mission Statement
The ARGE Weltläden, abbreviated as “ARGE”, World Shops was founded in 1982. ARGE World Shops is an association and umbrella organization of Austrian World Shops. In short, ARGE World Shops is responsible for promoting Fair Trade, advising World Shops on new establishments and relocations, as well as providing training for World Shop employees. The members of ARGE World Shops are all World Shops that carry the registered trademark “Weltladen” (World Shop).
