Linens for Life™ is Shared Value program and a circular procurement initiative by Diversey a Solenis Company that transforms discarded hotel linens into high-quality, market-ready products, such as bags, accessories, and hospitality textiles, creating dignified work opportunities while reducing textile waste.
The initiative is developed in collaboration with the hospitality sector and global solution providers, with a strong focus on fair trade principles, circularity, and women’s economic empowerment.
As part of the Gateway to Fair Trade Fashion (G2FTF) project, we are conducting a global mapping of WFTO members with:
-
Sewing and/or garment-making capacity
-
Textile production or upcycling expertise
-
Experience producing gifts, accessories, home or hospitality-related items
This mapping aims to identify WFTO members worldwide who could potentially participate in local or regional Linens for Life™ production opportunities, linked to hotels and institutional buyers in their own geography.
Participation may open pathways to longer-term hospitality partnerships and diversified market access.
Who can apply
-
All WFTO members globally
-
Organizations with existing or scalable sewing/textile capacity even small
-
Producer groups interested in circular production and hospitality markets
