PETITION TO THE EU: CLIMATE FINANCE FOR SMALLHOLDERS

Led by GEPA, and WFTO as a partner, the Fair Trade movement is taking political action: in its trilingual petition (German, English, Spanish), it is calling on the EU Commissioner for Climate Action, Frans Timmermans, to provide more funding, advice and training for small farmers in the Global South. Worldshops, producers, consumers, politicians, European Fair Trade organisations and all those involved in Fair Trade are called upon to sign the petition. In this way, GEPA is drawing attention to the issue of climate justice in view of the COP27 climate conference in Egypt (7 - 18 November 2022). Interested parties can support the cause with their digital signature until 23 October by clicking on this link
