We sell handicrafts for HLHCS members and nonmembers, such as olivewood, embroidery mother-of-pearl, ceramics, olive soap, Stationary made from recycled paper, candles and recycled glass made by local workshops, women’s groups and organizations that work with people with special needs. We sell our products mainly through Fair Trade channels to customers from all over the world and to tourists and pilgrims through our local souvenir shop. HLHCS aims to preserve the handicraft traditions of our area for the benefit of future generations of Palestinians. We strive to alleviate local poverty and to decrease emigration. Fair Trade 10 principles represent the cornerstone of the Cooperative’s philosophy and values.
