Dear Members and Friends,

We wish you all a happy and prosperous 2010 !

We hope we all will find effective ways of overcoming the challenges many faced during 2009, and profit from new opportunities in this coming year.

Last month we held regional meetings with our membership in North America, on December 3, and Europe, on December 15. The purpose of these meetings was to provide a report on the financial and operating status of the WFTO and ask our members for support. Please as well visit our website where we have uploaded pictures of the staff, for you to familiarise with the people in the office working to serve you. Our website has much increased interest as the statistics of website hits show; reaching a height of over 60.000 hits in November. We are confident that the change in name has given the WFTO more visibility and we are keen to improve awareness of Fair Trade and visibility of you as members through this means of communication. May this be a fruitful year for all of us.
